Finally, the movie “Evangelion Ha” was released, and of cause it has come to the 1st place! The sales of the Blu-ray Disc have reached 357 thousands volumes in the 1st week. It has made the new record of Japanese BD’s sales. And the amount sales of the DVD&BD have reached 640 thousands volumes. Besides, “Evangelion Ha”’s privilege “raw film cuts” become current topic.

NARUTO whose gross sales has reached to 100million pieces has defended the 1st place continually from the last week!! And “Nodame Cantabile” which Tomoko Ninomiya draws has defended the 2nd place also. As for new comer of TOP10, “Mayoineko Overrun!” which began anime from this April has come to the 9th place. It was hit originally as light novel.

The gross sales of “NARUTO” that has come to the 1st place has amounted to 100 million volumes by the release of this vol.51! “NARUTO” is published serially in the popular magazine Shonen Jump. Besides “NARUTO”, Jump has already four titles that amount to 100million volumes. They are “ONE PIECE“, “DRAGON BALL“, “SLAM DUNK” and “Kochira Katsushikaku Kamearikouenmae Hatsushusho“.

Anime DVD ranking, dated May 3
April 30th, 2010 manutaro This ranking is according to “Oricon”.
This week we have to pay attention to “WORKING!” of the 4th place. “WORKING!” is broadcast now from this spring term. It is rare that anime which is broadcast now releases immediately in the term. “WORKING!” held the “WORKING! Museum” until April 30, in commemoration of the release.
And “Baka to Test to Shoukanjuu” vol.1 has come to the Top10.

In the TOP10 ranking of this week there are some title which came in the ranking of last week. They are “BLEACH”, “Evangelion”, “Gintama“ and so on. And this week what have come in the 1st place is “Ouran High School Host Club”! The story of Ouran high school is that Haruhi Fujioka who is a girl of drudge works concealing her sex as host in the school to which upper class students go for her debt. Besides “Kaicho wa Maid-sama!” which is broadcast now on TV has come into the Ranking.

It is decided that “Nurarihyon no Mago” will be animelized.
