Japan makes everything into Moe characters! Finally even computer viruses are personified as sweet devil Moe characters! “Kawaii Secutiry” is a book that personifies over 30 computer viruses as Moe characters and introduce the countermeasure.
This book “Kawaii Security” under the supervision of Panda Security will be released on 14th March from publisher Sansai Books.
Though the news becomes a topic in Japan it is told also by foreign news websites now.

The image character on the cover is drawn by one of the most famous illustrators Aoi Nishimata! She was in charge of character design of “Shuffle!“, “Lovedol ~Lovely Idol~“, and “Ore-tachi ni Tsubasa wa Nai“(Ore Tsuba) that will start as the anime from this April.
In “Kawaii Security” everybody can know the history of computer viruses with the illustrations pleasantly. And feature of each well-known virus, “ILOVEYOU“, “Nimda“, “Code Red” and other many viruses, is explained. The Moe characters that are personified are not only viruses but also major security software’s makers. To our surprise, security software’s makers permit to personify their image as moe characters. lol The Moe characters are designed, of cause, according to their peculiarity and mischief. So the imagination of each illustrators are very interesting.
To tell the truth, mangajet’s writers jsotaro, you and manutaro have to do with making “Kawaii Security”. lol
Illustrators that mangajet featured before take part in this book, too.

Though this book sorts out the viruses according to the type, there are Manga “Security Soldier Hikari” in the end of each chapter. Besides, CD-ROM that includes Panda Security’s “Panda Internet Security” trial ver. and many wallpapers for PC and iPhone come with “Kawaii Security” as the bonus.

Moe characters in the chapter2 are they!
Do you know “PakistanBrain”, “Cascade”, “Chernobyl” and so on. They are computer viruses that appeared in the early days of computer virus in 1980s. In those days the Internet had not come into general use yet and started to be used in corporation’s office. There were viruses that spread through floppy disk and infected Work, Excel and so on.
Though the images above are only icons they are drawn in more big size in the book.
