Introduction:
Tokyo international Anime Fair(TAF) is a festival for anime fan. Mainly corporations of anime industry exhibit their works, especially their new works that will be broadcast or sold after this. Almost all well-known corporations took part in this festival to 2010. But from this year very famous company Kadokawa Publisher that has popular contents of anime, manga and light novel announced to decide on a boycott to protest a ordinance that was approved by Toko prefecture and regulates expression in manga, because TAF’s top of committee is in charged by the Governor of Tokyo. Moreover, other well-known corporations agreed with Kadokawa’s will and decided to boycott, too. And almost all of corparations that exhibit their works in TAF are only corporations that make anime for kids or very wholesome anime. So many corporations that has anime loved by Otaku don’t take part in TAF. It is too regretable because TAF was one of festivals to which many foreign Otakus came from oversea. In the hall also goods related with anime, bug on which anime’s characters are drawn and so on distributed gratis. The girls who distributes such a goods wear usually costume of anime character. And the many figures, the new trailers, the original script of works, the rare exhibits are displayed. Also goods that are put on the market and not put on the market are sold. Be careful not to buy too many goods.
How to take part in: You can take part in Wonder Festival by means of buying the official guid book on the spot or consigned dealers.
