story&introduction:
This is a horror story. “Shiki”’s original is a horror novel. And it also is comicalized by Ryu Fujisaki that drew “Hoshin Engi“.
“Shiki” will be broadcast for 2 seasons.
A mysterious family has moved into this Sotoba village in midnight. Then creatures that is called Shiki have begun to appear in the village. They attack the village under cover of night’s darkness and increase.
The lead character Yuki Natsuno who has become aware of it at once and Toshio Ozaki who is the director of a only hospital in the village stand up to.
animation production:
Daum have made many moe or lolita animes by now. This time it is worth watching how Daum will make horror taste anime.

The original is a horror novel that Fuyumi Ono wrote. This novel was nominated for the 58th Mystery writers of Japan Prize in the category of long novel. It is made into manga by Ryu Fujisaki from 2008.
